We're in Africa (not anymore but you get my drift)

You can’t assume…
…Spaghetti is going to be the spaghetti with red sauce
…The tabletop is connected to the bottom
…a glass will break when you drop it on cement
…the lady who cleans your room will have two legs
…sunsets are pretty because of nature rather than pollution
…road signs are to be followed
…the back of a pick up truck is for supplies not people
…a bus has a maximum capacity
…high school boys don’t speak English…
“No falo Portuguese”-me, “oh, If you kiss me I’ll go”-boy, “wait what, uh no…”-me, “come on pretty girl, just one kiss”-him, (me covering mouth), “Sorry no..”-me
…houses will be made of bricks (what rhymes with bricks, oh STICKS)
…boys will wear boys clothes
…babies wear real diapers
…that paved roads are paved
…no means no
…there is just one translation in service

here's the example of one of these...assumptions...our house was made of sticks...so you guessed it anything can come through our walls if they can fit...like bugs, mosquitos, spiders, even lizards...oh ya...and hands..

We’re in Africa
